Out of the total number of 170 submitted projects, in the concourse for IPA cross-border cooperation between Serbia and Hungary, the EU has granted financial assistance for 69.
The amount of assets is more than 17.8 million euro, which represents a significant support to developmental initiatives, specified director of the European Affairs Fund Predrag Novikov.
According to him, 4.8 million euro will be directed to five projects in the field of infrastructure and road network, 328 thousand euro into the project of public transport, while 3.7 million will be invested in six projects aimed at managing the water resources.
Special emphasis is laid at helping the education, with the amount of 3.2 million euro, while bit more than two million has been granted for eight projects in the field of research, new technology and innovation, explained Novikov.
He has announced that the new concourse in this domain is expected this fall.
