EULEX: preparation for exhumation of two graves

EULEX Spokesperson Irina Gudeljevic has stated today that preparatory works are underway for the exhumation of two, or maybe even three mass graves, which should start in the close future.

EULEX Spokesperson Irina Gudeljevic has stated today that preparatory works are underway for the exhumation of two, or maybe even three mass graves, which should start in the close future.

She did not specify the exact locations of these graves, while reminding that EULEX forensics and representatives of the Office of Missing Persons have completed 190 field operations so far.

The EULEX experts of forensic medicine have performed more than 430 autopsies, 110 forensic clinical investigations and more than 115 crime scene investigations, stated Gudeljevic, adding that on December 9, 2008, EULEX joined the efforts to resolve the issue of missing persons.
