First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic visited the monasteries of Gracanica and Banjska in Kosovo-Metohija yesterday.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic visited the monasteries of Gracanica and Banjska in Kosovo-Metohija yesterday.
In Gracanica Dacic underlined that the decision of the Constitutional Court to abolish the so-called “Kosovo allowance” to Serb employees in the province is debatable and that the Serbian government should find a new model for assisting Serbs in Kosovo and others who respect the state of Serbia.
He pointed out that Serbia is ready to provide personnel for securing Serbian medieval monasteries and sites of historical importance in these lands.
In Banjska monastery the First Deputy Prime Minister attended the celebration of the feast day of Transfer of Relics of First Martyr and Archdeacon Stefan. The service was held by Bishops Amfilohije and Teodosije.
