Serbia plans to foster close trade and economic cooperation with Altai Krai, a Russian district, Serbian Ambassador to Russia Jelica Kurjak stated at a meeting with Altai Krai Governor Alexander Karlin.

As a result of the visit of the Serbian delegation that will last by August 30, an agreement on cooperation will be signed, the ITAR-TASS was told in the district's administrative center.

We have come here not only to negotiate, but to make a deal, the ambassador said.

The Serbian pharmaceutical company Galenika and Altai company Altayvitaminy are planning to set up a Bijsk-based packaging facility for Galenika's pharmaceutical products registered in Russia.
