Dacic in gathering about natural disasters, held in St. Petersburg

Serbian Minister of Interior Ivica Dacic has stated in St. Petersburg that the exchange of experience is needed in order to prevent the serious consequences of natural disasters for the population.

Serbian Minister of Interior Ivica Dacic has stated in St. Petersburg that the exchange of experience is needed in order to prevent the serious consequences of natural disasters for the population.

He is attending the 12th ministerial session of the European and Mediterranean agreement on disasters. Dacic has thanked Russia and its ministry for emergency situations for organizing the gathering.

A few years ago Serbia has become a signatory of that agreement and now for the first time it is attending the session as a full member, he explained.

The Serbian minister has acquainted his colleagues with the idea of competent Serbian and Russian ministries to form the regional center in Nis, which should be open for all countries that wish to partake in it.
