Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic will present the draft of Serbia’s first national communication, a strategic document for fighting climate change, at 10.00 on 19 October, at the Zira Hotel, Ruzveltova 35.

Representatives from the UN Development Programme (UNDP), public utility company Elektroprivreda Srbije and experts from the Vinca Nuclear Institute and the Institute of Meteorology will also participate.

Drafting national communications is one of the most important obligations of member states under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

These are national strategic documents that envisage measures of every country in the fight against climate change.
