National Bank Vice Governor Bojan Markovic had stated that the results of negotiations with IMF on the sixth revision of the standby arrangement should be seen this week.
He expressed hope the negotiations will be completed successfully. At the press conference on the occasion of presenting the November report on inflation, Markovic has underlined that the negotiations with IMF are very important and reflect on our country’s risk premiums.
He has reminded that in September, based on the current arrangement, Serbia drew some 15% of the available assets, i.e. 53.5 million euro.
The IMF Mission, headed by Albert Jaeger, was in Belgrade from October 21 to November 4, and it was agreed to continue the negotiations.
