Tuvalu recognizes the Republic of Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo.

Tuvalu recognizes the Republic of Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo.

The Permanent Mission of Tuvalu to the United Nations sent the diplomatic recognition letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo emphasizing that the Government of Tuvalu officially recognizes the Republic of Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state.

The recognition letter was sent on November 18, 2010.

Tuvalu is the 72nd UN member country to recognize the Republic of Kosovo.
