Greek AKTOR to build Corridor 10 Vranje-Bujanovac line

The contract on the construction of Corridor 10 eight kilometres long section from Vranje to Bujanovac, southern Serbia, was signed in Belgrade on Friday with the Greek company Aktor, which should complete the works by spring 2012.

The construction of the section will be financed by a grant of the Greek government, and with the mediation of HiPERB plan worth EUR 21.84 million.
Member of the Corridor 10 Management Board Nenad Ivanisevic stated that the land expropriation has been completed and that preparatory works should start in about two weeks. The deadline for completion of the section is 18 months.
The contract was signed by Serbian State Secretary for Economy and National Coordinator for the HiPERB Plan Vesna Arsic, Greek Coordinator for the HiPERB Plan Constantine Papadopoulos, Corridor 10 Management Board member Nenad Ivanisevic and Aktor Board of Directors Chairman Dimitrios Koutras. The signing of the contract was also attended by Serbian Minister of Infrastructure Milutin Mrkonjic.
