SMOM opens new diplomatic office in Belgrade

A new diplomatic office of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta (SMOM) was opened in Belgrade presenting Alberto di Luca, the third SMOM ambassador to Serbia since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2003.
A new diplomatic office of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta (SMOM) was opened in Belgrade presenting Alberto di Luca, the third SMOM ambassador to Serbia since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2003.
The SMOM has offices in 120 countries and developed bilateral relations with 104 of them, Di Luca said, adding that the key mission of the Order is organization of voluntary humanitarian activities.
The SMOM has a permanent mission to the United Nations (UN) and a great number of specialized UN agencies. The Order was established in the year of 1099.
