“MK Group” denies importing genetically modified seed

“MK Group” underlines that it has never imported genetically modified seed and that any other information is untrue.

In regard to media reporting on the alleged import of genetically modified seed to the Republic of Serbia and false claims of Mr Nikola Aleksić, President of the Ecological Movement of Novi Sad, that “MK Group” imports such seed, the company informing the public that we filed a private lawsuit to the Primary Court in Novi Sad for interfering with business reputation and credit rating from Article 239, Paragraph 2 related to Paragraph 1, of the Criminal Law of the Republic of Serbia.

In addition, a legal action against Mr Nikola Aleksić for claiming damages worth several millions will be initiated as well.

“MK Group” will use all legal measures at disposal and procedures against all entities that state untrue and damaging information about company's business operations in the future as well, regardless of whether those entities do so out of immoral reasons to achieve their or other goals or other unjustified reasons.

Furthermore, “MK Group” underlines that it has never imported genetically modified seed and that any other information is untrue.
