Dinar weakens against euro by 39 paras

The dinar weakened against the euro on Monday by 39 paras, setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 104.6051 = EUR 1, announced the National Bank of Serbia (NBS).

The dinar weakened against the euro on Monday by 39 paras, setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 104.6051 = EUR 1, announced the National Bank of Serbia (NBS).

The central bank did not intervene in the interbank foreign exchange market on Friday, and since the beginning of the year it has bought EUR 5 million to alleviate excessive daily fluctuations in the exchange rate.

In 2011, the Serbian currency was the strongest on January 27 (104.1572), and the weakest on January 6 (106.4947).
