The Serbian government formed Thursday a commission for monitoring the visa-free regime with the EU, whose task is to deal with issues related to the increase in fake asylum seekers from Serbia in the EU.

The commission will propose solutions to the government, with a view to reducing the number of asylum requests, reads the statement issued by the government's press office.

EU interior and justice ministers are debating the implementation of visa liberalization for the countries in the Western Balkans in Brussels on Thursday.
