Electricity prices to rise as of April 1, EPS grants discount

The Administrative Board of the Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS) adopted a decision on Monday to reduce electricity bills by 11.89 per cent for citizens who spend up to 350 kWh, Chairman of the board Aca Marovic stated on Monday.
The Administrative Board of the Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS) adopted a decision on Monday to reduce electricity bills by 11.89 per cent for citizens who spend up to 350 kWh, Chairman of the board Aca Marovic stated on Monday.
The discount will remain in force by April 1 when new prices will be implemented, brining a 13.5 per cent electricity bill increase for households spending over 350 kWh, Markovic said.
The 11.89 per cent discount will apply only to households which make their payments on time and have no pending electricity bills, Marovic said.
