Dacic, who is also the coordinator of the government's team in charge of evacuating Serbian citizens from Libya, told reporters that some 250 Serbian citizens decided to stay in Libya and that the government is willing to continue the evacuation if necessary.

He said that the evacuation of Serbian citizens from Libya should be used as a model for resolving similar situations and pointed out that Serbia is one of few countries that managed to resolve this issue successfully, since many countries had problems with it.

One Montenegrin ship coming from Ras Lanuf docked at Bar on Thursday, carrying 128 Serbian citizens on board.
