Security situation in Serbia is stable, stated officials at the Wednesday meeting on the regular annual analysis of operational and functional capacities of the Serbian Army for the year of 2010, which was held in Belgrade on Wednesday.

Security situation in Serbia is stable, stated officials at the Wednesday meeting on the regular annual analysis of operational and functional capacities of the Serbian Army for the year of 2010, which was held in Belgrade on Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by Serbian President Boris Tadic, Defence Minister Dragan Sutanovac and Chief-of-Staff of the Serbian Army General Miloje Miletic, together with top officials of the Serbian Defence Ministry and the Army.

The officials discussed the security situation in the country and its environment, the dynamics of realisation of the Army's tasks for 2010 and other issues relevant to maintenance and development of capacities of the Serbian Army.

At the end of the analysis, officials adopted conclusions and set central tasks for the next period which should contribute to further development of the Serbian Army's capacities
