Cycling race 'Tour de Serbie' from June 13-19

The 51st international cycling race 'Tour de Serbie' will be held from June 13-19, the organizers of that manifestation announced on Thursday.

The 51st international cycling race 'Tour de Serbie' will be held from June 13-19, the organizers of that manifestation announced on Thursday.

This year's participants will have a special opportunity to ride certain stages of the race in eastern Republika Srpska.

The cycling route includes the following points: Ruma (northern Serbia), Pale (Republika Srpska), Bajina Basta (western Serbia),Uzice (western Serbia), Nis (southern Serbia), Sokobanja (eastern Serbia) and Kladovo (eastern Serbia). The last stage starts in Lepenski Vir (eastern Serbia) and finishes in Belgrade.

The sponsors of the race are the Serbian Ministry of Youth and Sports and Ministry of Economy and Regional Development.

Under the slogan 'Tourism and Cycling Together', the 2011 race will be dedicated to promotion of the Danube Strategy.
