Serbian President Boris Tadic and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic will have separate meetings with Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) Serge Brammertz, who is on a two-day visit to Belgrade in preparation of his report to the UN Security Council.

Brammaertz met Tuesday with Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic and head of the National Council for Cooperation with the ICTY Rasim Ljajic.

The main topic of the meeting between Brammertz and Vukcevic were the remaining ICTY fugitives and Serbia's efforts to apprehend them, Deputy War Crimes Prosecutor Bruno Vekaric told Tanjug.

Ljajic and Brammertz agreed that the cooperation between Serbia and the ICTY is free of difficulties, according to an announcement from the council.

Brammertz stated that the issue of the two remaining fugitives, Ratko Mladic and Goran Hadzic, remains open when it comes to Serbia's cooperation, and that he will point that out in his report.

There has been no request from the ICTY Prosecutor's Office that Serbia has failed to answer on time, according to what was said at the meeting. Both sides hope that this trend will continue.
