The Eparchy of Raska and Prizren of the Serbian Orthodox Church has pointed to the frequent breaking into the churches in the Sirnicka region near Prizren, and looting them.

According to the communiqué a church in the village of Rajkovce, where some 50 Serb families live, was broken into and looted on Friday.

One of the local inhabitants has found three Albanian youth in the church, while the fourth has run away. The burglars have been held until the arrival of the police. Five months ago, the same temple was also looted, but the perpetrators were not found.

The church in the village of Popovce was broken into twice in a week, but again, the police have not found the culprits. The same was the case with the church in the village of Brod, which was desecrated on several occasions, but the guilty parties have not been discovered.
