While "NATO Conference", as this conference is called in a simplified manner, causes controversy in the local political scene, the Ministry of Defence is confident that Serbia, as the host of the Conference, will have great benefit in political, diplomatic and military terms. Top military officials, about 200 from 55 countries and two international organizations – NATO and the EU, will discuss solely the military issues.

Milorad Peric, Head of International Military Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Defence of Serbia, says for "Politika" that the upcoming military summit is the largest gathering in Belgrade ever since the Summit of the Non-Aligned Countries in 1989.

The Strategic Military Partner Conference, which will be held at the Hyatt Hotel in Belgrade, from Monday to Wednesday, will cost the Serbian citizens as much as usual cocktail, which will be prepared for the guests from the world by the Ministry of Defence.

The costs of the gathering amounting to about 200,000 U.S. dollars will be covered by the Allied Command Transformation from the United States, whose Supreme Commander is the French General Stephane Abrial, who is by the way the first European in this office.

Participants in the Conference will be the top military representatives of NATO countries, PfP members, including Russia, countries of the Mediterranean Dialogue (North African partner countries of the Alliance), the Istanbul Initiative (partners from the Middle East), Japan, Brazil, Pakistan .

This is the largest international conference to be held in Belgrade since 1989, when the Non-Aligned Summit was held.

While "NATO Conference", as this conference is called in a simplified manner, causes controversy in the local political scene, the Ministry of Defence is confident that Serbia, as the host of the Conference, will have great benefit in political, diplomatic and military terms.

- For three days, Serbia will be the centre of global security policy. The fact that the participant in the Conference will be the Chairman of the EU Military Committee, and intensified cooperation with the EU through the European Defence and Security Policy, is an acknowledgement for Serbia and the defence system for the reform results so far and contribution to the regional stability - Milorad Peric, Head of the International Military Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Defence said.

He points out that he has nothing against the announced protest rallies in Belgrade, if they are organized in accordance with the law and without violating the public order and disturbing the public peace. Moreover, the protests are normal when similar meetings are organized around the world.

This Conference, which has been organised since 2006 once a year and so far mostly in Partner States, is to be held in Belgrade at the invitation of the Allied Command Transformation. In October 2009, the proposal by the Allied Command Transformation to Serbia to host this event was accepted.

- Intensifying cooperation in the high-level Serbia confirms its willingness to be an active partner in the Partnership for Peace Programme – Peric pointed out.

Top military officials, about 200 from 55 countries and two international organizations – NATO and the EU, will discuss solely the military issues.

- The highest official from Serbia to participate in the Conference will be the Chief of General Staff General Miloje Miletic. Defence Minister will address the participants, but he will not participate in the work. On behalf of NATO and EU, the participants will be the Chairmen of Military Committees of both organizations. We expect that about 30 CHODs and DCHODs will take part in it – Peric explains.

Safety of participants is within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Serbian authorities. Besides VBA and the Military Police, Ministry of Interior, BIA, representatives of the prosecution and the judiciary are engaged.

"There will be no delays in traffic which are common during the visits by high-level foreign delegations, as nearly all the event will take place at the Hyatt Hotel," Peric explained.

They are NOT welcome in Serbia and they know that and our "yes man" sycophants will meet consequences for that.

Of course, many of us see what NATO airplanes do with our sky after Serbia sign "Partnership for peace" (like Orwell say-peace is war) putting a chemical trails from small civil-military planes. Google: chemtrails.
