Serbian parliament adopted a Law on financing political activities, thus meeting one of the requirements for becoming a candidate for the EU.
The law provides allocating 0.15% of the budget for the regular work of political parties and 0.1% of the budget for financing election campaigns.
MPs also adopted the Law amending the Law on excise tax, which provides for equalisation of excises on petrol and diesel fuels.
This ended the parliament’s second extraordinary session in 2011.
Parliament will tomorrow begin a new extraordinary meeting, which will discuss proposed amendments to the Law on financing of local governments.
