The New York federal prosecutor has raised an indictment against Kosovo Albanian Arid Uka, who killed two and injured another two U.S. soldiers at the Frankfurt airport in March.

Uka is currently in German custody after confessing to the killings. The federal prosecutor's office refused to comment on him potentially being extradited to the U.S.

U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara charged Uka with murder and attempted murder. As he fired the gun, Uka kept repeating Allah is great and continued shooting until he emptied the magazine, the prosecutor's office states.

Uka is thought to have acted on his own, since he has never been linked to any terrorist organization.
