Markovic to open 6th international short story festival in Kikinda

Minister of Culture, Media and Information Society Predrag Markovic will open the 6th international short story festival “Kikinda Short” on 29 June at 21.00, at Jovan Popovic National Library, Trg Srpskih Dobrovoljaca 57, Kikinda.

Minister of Culture, Media and Information Society Predrag Markovic will open the 6th international short story festival “Kikinda Short” on 29 June at 21.00, at Jovan Popovic National Library, Trg Srpskih Dobrovoljaca 57, Kikinda.

This year’s festival, which the Ministry financed with RSD 250,000, will feature 25 authors from 19 countries.

This year’s guest of honour is Wales, and beside authors from the region, there will also be participants from Canada, the Czech Republic, England, Greece, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Norway and Portugal.
