Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic delivered yesterday keys to eight flats to married couples with several children and socially vulnerable families in Mali Zvecan near Kosovska Mitrovica.

Bogdanovic underlined that the proper ministry invested over RSD 13 million in construction of these flats, noting that the Serbian government has the additional obligation to invest in the province because in this way it helps the Serbian people and Serbian institutions to remain there.

It takes great courage in a time such as this to promise to finish a building on time, he said, adding that this affirms that all promises regarding the province have been fulfilled, and it is Serbia’s obligation to do so.

Bogdanovic stressed that agreements reached in Brussels, at a dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, do not predict the province’s status in any way, reiterating that the Serbian government will never recognise Kosovo’s unilaterally declared independence.

Belgrade will not give up on the dialogue with Pristina because this is the only way to resolve the issues of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija.
