Kosovo market inspectors started field visits to shops in search for Serbian products on Tuesday checking whether the ban on import from Serbia is observed.

The market inspectors will carry out the action during entire August, it was announced at a meeting of the market inspection in Prstina.

Chief market inspector Ruzdi Sehu presented the action plan for market monitoring after the introduction of the reciprocity measures in trade with Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

These are the additional measures announced by Kosovo Minister of Trade and Industry Mimoza Kusari Ljilja.

If any products imported after the decision are found on shop shelves, they will be confiscated, Sehu said when presenting the action plan.
