The joint meeting of representatives of three municipalities, Kosovska Mitrovica, Leposavic and Zvecan, in Leposavic on Tuesday was interrupted because representatives of Zubin Potok did not appear and it was agreed that each municipality should revise the interim agreement individually.
Leposavic municipal president Slavko Stevanovic told reporters that municipal assembly speakers from northern Kosovo agreed to postpone the meeting because formal and legal conditions for staging the sitting have not been met as Zubin Potok representatives failed to appear.
According to Stevanovic, municipal assemblies will hold individual meetings to revise the interim agreement.
Stevanovic could not specify the date when the sittings would be held.
After a meeting with Serbian President Boris Tadic on Monday evening, the representatives of north Kosovo Serbs stated that it is crucial to preserve peace, unity and stability.
They also said that it was agreed at the meeting to request from representatives of international community to act in keeping with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244.
