Member of the Jackals paramilitary unit Sinisa Misic was arrested Friday in the Belgrade municipality of Batajnica after spending years on the run, the War Crimes Prosecutor's Office told Tanjug.

Member of the Jackals paramilitary unit Sinisa Misic was arrested Friday in the Belgrade municipality of Batajnica after spending years on the run, the War Crimes Prosecutor's Office told Tanjug.

Misic is charged with killing 11 people in the village of Cuska in Kosovo in 1999. He was arrested on an Interpol warrant issued at the request of the Belgrade District Court's War Crimes Chamber. Two suspects in the same crime remain at large.
