Davutoglu pays unofficial visit to Belgrade

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, who is on an unofficial one-day visit to Belgrade, met Saturday with his Serbian counterpart Vuk Jeremic.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, who is on an unofficial one-day visit to Belgrade, met Saturday with his Serbian counterpart Vuk Jeremic.

Serbian President Boris Tadic will also have an informal meeting with Davutoglu, the president's press service confirmed to Tanjug.

During his visit, the Turkish FM will discuss ways to overcome the division in the Islamic community in Serbia with Serbian Minister of Labor and Social Policy Rasim Ljajic and Minister without Portfolio Sulejman Ugljanin.

Davutoglu is also set to meet with Chief Mufti of the Islamic Community in Serbia Muamer Zukorlic later in the day, Tanjug has learned from sources close to the Turkish delegation.
