The Serbian government adopted on Thursday two conclusions regarding a report on the talks with Pristina related to university diplomas and integrated management of the administrative line, as well as an ordinance on freedom of movement, which regulates the procedure for crossing that line.

Serbia's government has decided to allow the free movement on its territory of all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.

The Serbian government adopted on Thursday two conclusions regarding a report on the talks with Pristina related to university diplomas and integrated management of the administrative line, as well as an ordinance on freedom of movement, which regulates the procedure for crossing that line.

Head of the government office for media relations Milivoje Mihajlovic told a news conference only a conclusion about the negotiating team's report had been adopted when it comes to the agreements on integrated border management and university degrees, and that the ordinances enabling the implementation of the agreements would be adopted at one of the future meetings of the government.

The freedom of movement ordinance allows the implementation of the related agreement reached during the talks, Mihajlovic noted. People with personal identification documents issued by the provisional institutions of self-government in Kosovo will be allowed to cross the administrative line, he explained.

They will be issued an entry and exit document, which will be considered as the only valid document.

"Besides that, the vehicles with registration plates that bear RKS markings will be allowed to travel across the territory of central Serbia with an entry and exit document," he noted.

The ordinance contains a clause that says RKS plates will be replaced at crossings, while vehicle owners will be issued with temporary plates, Mihajlovic stated, adding that the ordinance will enter into force one day after it is published in the Official Gazette.
