The Serbian government has recommended today the preventive measures to eliminate problems with energy supply and enable the proper work of the energy system in the country in conditions of extremely low temperatures.
The Serbian government has recommended today the preventive measures to eliminate problems with energy supply and enable the proper work of the energy system in the country in conditions of extremely low temperatures.
The government has instructed the Ministry of Education and Science to consider the possibility to suspend or limit the work of institutions of primary, secondary and higher education and of student centres.
Industrial customers are recommended to reduce energy consumption to a technological minimum while other consumers are advised to rationalise consumption of energy.
Local authorities are also advised to reduce the use of electricity for street lighting, billboards and neon signs.
Also, the Serbian government recommended energy companies to inform customers about all the necessary rationalisation of energy consumption.
