Dinar extends slide against euro, rate RSD 107.34

The Serbian dinar continues to weaken against the euro on Wednesday by 0.7 percent, setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 107.3461 per one euro, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has said in a release.

Wednesday's level of the dinar is lower than any of its rate throughout 2011 with the record low on January 6 when the official exchange rate stood at RSD 106.4947 for EUR 1.
In 2012, the dinar hit its highest level against the hard currency on January 11, when the official middle exchange rate was at RSD 103.6922, and the lowest on February 7, when one euro was worth RSD 106.5622.
On a monthly level, the dinar will weaken against the euro by 1.9 percent, while sliding 3.7 percent on an annual basis.
On Monday, the indicative dinar-versus-dollar exchange rate stood at RSD 81.2551 per one dollar, recording no change compared to the day before.
On a monthly basis, the dinar rose against the U.S. dollar by 1.4 percent, whereas on an annual level it dropped by 6.6 percent, the NBS release reads.
