Head of the Serbian parliament's delegation to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Suzana Grubjesic said that the fact Serbia will chair the organization in 2015 is a truly great recognition for the country.

Reminding that the former Yugoslavia was one of the founders of the Conference on Security and Co- operation in Europe, Grubjesic told Tanjug that a consensus was needed for the decision, in the organization which brings together 56 countries "from Vancouver to Vladivostok."

"A consensus was reached, which means not a single country was opposed to Serbia heading the organization. I sincerely hope that whoever is leading our diplomacy in 2015 will use this in the best possible way to promote Serbia's reputation and everything Serbia has done," she said.

At the OSCE meeting in Vienna on Friday, in the presence of Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic, it was decided that Serbia will preside over the organization in 2015.
