Successful business year of UniCredit bank

UniCredit Bank was additionally capitalized in 2007 with 40m EUR and, due to very ambitious plans in 2008, new additional capitalizations are in the pipeline.

The activities of UniCredit Bank on the market in Serbia registered growth in 2007 - in addition to growth of net profit and 40m EUR worth of additional capitalization in 2007, the balance sum, deposits of the clients and the number of employees grew as well.

Net profit at the end of year 2007 reached 23.2m EUR, that is, 1,859.4m RSD, which represents growth of 39% when compared to the previous year.

Total balance sum at the end of year 2007 amounted to 922.1m EUR, that is, 73,069.6m RSD, which is 6.8% more than in 2006.

The evidence of good operations of UniCredit Bank in Serbia is the number of clients (121,093) who deposited 624.1m EUR, that is, 49,457.8m RSD, in UniCredit Bank in 2007.

At the end of year 2007, UniCredit Bank had 48 offices in Serbia and 777 employees, which represents the increase in number of workers by 10% in comparison with the previous year.

During the first three months of year 2008, two offices have been opened and the plan for the rest of the year is expansion of the network with the opening of additional 15 offices and further increase in number of workers.
