Alliance One Tobacco building in Sabac

With this investment Sabac should become the purchase center for virginia, garley and bigleaf tobacco, while the oriental tobacco will be purchased where it is grown, in south Serbia.

Tobacco producer Alliance One Tobacco announced the construction of an advanced purchase center in Sabac, to start late in April.

The total value of the investment is USD 1 million and the depot will have the capacity of 3 million kilograms.

With this investment Sabac should become the purchase center for virginia, garley and bigleaf tobacco, while the oriental tobacco will be purchased where it is grown, in south Serbia.

The new purchase center will be operational in mid July and will employ around 30 workers.
