The McDonald's company has invested over EUR12 million into the Serbian market over the past 20 years, where it employs around 700 people in 13 restaurants.
The McDonald's company announced on Sept. 7 that it has invested over EUR12 million into the Serbian market over the past 20 years.
General Manager of McDonald's Serbia Dragos Pavicevic told that the international suppliers and manufacturers invested "a few additional million euros" into production capacities in the Serbian market.
"In 2007, we paid over RSD300 million for taxes in Serbia," Pavicevic said, stating that the investments help further strengthening of the Serbian economy.
Speaking about the purchase of raw material, Pavicevic said that 60 percent of all the products used to prepare meals come from Serbia, but that it would be good if that percentage increased.
Pavicevic assessed that the company is satisfied with its business on the Serbian market, where it employs around 700 people in 13 restaurants, adding that it also plans to open some new ones.
