Serbian Parliament adopted four financial agreements

 The Parliament adopted four international financial agreements worth EUR 186 million for infrastructure projects.

The loans are for the bypass around Belgrade, improvements to the Gazela bridge, the construction of 500 apartments and improvements to the ecology in the vicinity of thermoelectric power plants.

Officials ratified the Framework Agreement on loans concluded between Serbia and the Council of Europe Development Bank worth EUR 10 million. With that money 500 apartments will be constructed, of which 400 are for refugees and 100 for the socially vulnerable.

The Belgrade Highway and Bypass Guarantee Agreement between Serbia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development was also ratified, securing EUR 80 million.The redevelopment of the Gazela bridge, access roads, the intersection and Section A of the Belgrade bypass will be completed with this money.

The Belgrade Bypass Guarantee Agreement between Serbia and the European Investment Bank, which was also adopted, is worth EUR 60 million and approves the public enterprise Roads of Serbia.

Officials also ratified the guarantee agreement of Serbia and the German financial institution German Development Bank (KfW) worth EUR 36 million, which aims to improve the remote heating systems at the Nikola Tesla and the Kostolac thermoelectric power plants.
