Kosovo's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vlora Citaku met in Ankara the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Babacan on Wednsday, which they discussed the issues of common interest to both nations, and expressed mutual readiness to deepen bilateral co-operation.

Following the meeting with Turkish chief diplomat Ali Babacan, the elegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, led by Deputy FM Citaku,Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Turkey, Bekim Sejdiu, general director of Kosovo MFA, Lulzim Mjeku and political adviser Besfort Rrecaj met with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Ertugrul Apakan and other senior officials of the Turkish diplomacy.
At cordial meetings, both sides have expressed willingness to take concrete steps towards the deepening of bilateral relations in various fields.
MFA Kosovo delegation had meetings with many ambassadors and diplomats of many Arab countries, with the aim of understanding the processes in Kosovo as a functional and stabil state, meanwhile urging them to recognize Kosovo independence as well.
Also, the Kosovo diplomatic delegation met with representatives of the business community in Ankara and the director of Turkey's Development Agency, informs the Press office of Kosovo's MFA.
