Investigation against eight members of the KLA continues

The investigation was continued after coming in possession of new pieces of evidence and several days after the War crimes prosecution broadcast video footage showing members of that group shortly after the ambush at Kosare.
Investigation against eight members of the KLA, members of a group called ‘Cobras’ suspected for a terrorist attack on soldiers of Yugoslav Army at Kosare watchtower on September 30, 1998 (five soldiers killed, three seriously wounded), has been continued at the District court at request by the public prosecution.
As ‘Blic’ learns the investigation was continued after coming in possession of new pieces of evidence and several days after the War crimes prosecution broadcast video footage showing members of that group shortly after the ambush at Kosare.
In the list of the suspects there are two former high officers of Kosovo protection corpus (KPS) – colonel R. A (41) of Pristina and lieutenant colonel A. C (54) of Djakovica as well as six Kosovo Albanians: M.S. (32) and D.G. (37) of Junik, Dz.G. (39) of Krusac near Suva reka, D.M. (31) of the village of Djocaj near Decani, I.A. (38) of Stimlje and B.R. (34) of Dobri Do.
In an attack on that day at 11.00 CET the Yugoslav Army soldiers that lost their lives are Vladimir Radojicic, Miladin Gobeljic, Ilija Pavlovic, Miroslav Jocic and Milos Pavlovic.Captain Goran Lozica and soldiers Dobrosav Drazic and Goran Simic were seriously wounded. It is suspected that corporal from Vranje M.B. was killed by a mine planted by that same group of terrorists.
