Slovenian business delegation on a two-day visit in Kosovo

A large Slovenian economic delegation, led by Chamber of Commerce Director Samo Hribar Milic, is on a two-day visit to Kosovo. There are some 40 officials in the delegation who will be meeting with colleagues from Kosovo.
The visit will also feature business conferences attended by Kosovo Traffic and Communications Minister Fatmir Limaj, Education Minister Enver Hoxhaj, Finance Minister Ahmet Shala, Kosovo Chamber of Commerce President Besim Beqaj, and the mayors of Prizren, Pristina and Kosovska Mitrovica.
Slovenian ambassador to Kosovo Jozef Help, as well as officials of the Slovenian civil and military mission in Kosovo, will also take part in the meetings Slovenian companies and institutions from the financial, economic and logistical-transport sectors are most interested in cooperation with their partners in Kosovo.
The Slovenian delegation will also feature companies from the fields of developmental and application technologies, consultancy, scientific research, environmental protection and international developmental assistance.
Last year, Slovenian exports to Kosovo totaled 83 milllion euro, with 3 million euro worth of products going in the opposite direction. The Bank of Slovenia is expected to release figures soon on total Slovenian investments in Kosovo, which look to be close to EUR200 million.
