03. November 2006. | 15:41 15:43

Mobilna Telefonija Srbije (MTS) will continue to be the leader in the Serbian mobile phone market with 3.8mn users after the third operator enters, Vladimir Lucic, CEO of MTS, has said.
“The number of MTS’s subscribers has in the previous year grown by a million,” he said, adding that he expects further enlargement of the market due to the considerable reduction in prices of mobile phones and the low costs of pre-paid packages. Lucic said that around 70 percent of the country’s population now owns a mobile phone which leaves the possibility of further growth in the numbers of mobile phone users.
