NIS Heads Serbia's Top 300

The most successful company in Serbia in 2005 was the country’s oil monopoly Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) with EUR 3.13 bn in revenues, according to Serbia’s leading business weekly Ekonomist Magazine’s latest TOP 300 special.
NIS is followed by the Serbian power monopoly Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS), Belgrade-based Delta Holding, Telekom Srbija and U.S. Steel Serbia. The publication, to be released on November 13, contains Serbia’s top 300 companies in business revenues in 2005, a list of the most successful companies grouped according to market sectors and sector analyses. The new methodology was developed by the magazine in cooperation with the well-known auditing firm KPMG and Altis Capital, a local financial advisory firm.
