Djelic to meet CERN Director General

Rolf-Dieter Heuer will visit the Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences and the Zemun Institute of Physics and will hold a lecture at 6 pm, at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Knez Mihailova 35.
Deputy Prime Minister for EU Integration and Minister of Science and Technological Development Bozidar Djelic will meet with Director General of the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN), Rolf-Dieter Heuer, on May 8 at 10:45, at the government building, Nemanjina 11.
The meeting will be open to the media and a statement will be issued at 11:30 am.
Serbia applied for CERN membership last autumn and in March submitted its report on science, economy and physics, which was the first step towards its CERN accession.
Djelic and Heuer will discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between Serbian scientists and members of this scientific institution.
