Slovenian companies to continue investments in Serbia

Slovenian investments in Serbia from 2001 to 2008 amount to a total of 1.63 billion euros, while Serbian investment in Slovenia stands at a mere 3 million.
Slovenian companies intend to continue a cycle of investments in Serbia, begun nearly ten years ago, despite the global economic slowdown.
News of the decision has been issued during an interview with the Serbian media given by the vice-president of the Slovenian economic club, Dmitar Polovina.
"Current investment will continue: the TUS chain, which sells consumer goods for homes, hopes to see the creation of more than 320 new jobs in eight new locations by the end of this year.
Our largest chain of supermarkets, on the other hand, has projected investments of 30 million euros".
