People employed in banks and insurance companies are the best paid employees in Serbia.

People employed in banks and insurance companies are the best paid employees in Serbia.

Their average net salary in June amounted to RSD 75,161. It is twice higher than the average net salary in Serbia, which amounts to RSD 31,768.

Banking sector in Serbia earned RSD 32.3 billion in 2008, which is 44.5 percent higher from 2007. Most of the banks in Serbia are owned by foreigners.
