Serbian President Boris Tadic, who is on an official visit to China, visited the Great Wall of China with the Ambassador of China to Serbia Vej Jing Hua.

The Great Wall of China is the inspiration for me and my people as to how much can be contributed to the common history and a unique purpose, wrote Tadic in the book of impressions.

Tadic was this morning officially given an envelope with his image and signature, of which the Chinese Post Office printed 50.000 copies in his honor, as well as the message „For the great historic friendship of Chinese and Serbian peoples“.

The Chinese Post Office also released into circulation stamps with the flag of Serbia in honor of the Serbian delegation visit. Presidents of Serbia and China, Boris Tadic and Hu Jintao respectively, agreed in Beijing that the deepening of the traditionally friendly relations and establishment of the strategic partnership represent a joint intention of the two peoples and of essential interest of both countries.
