Another volcano eruption, number of victims raised to 191

The most recent volcano eruption happened on Wednesday, just after midnight, stated an official from the Agency of Volcanology in Yogyakarta province. For Chinese news agency Xinghua, the official said that the ashes were spreading in all directions up to 50 kilometres far.

The number of victims after another Indonesian Merapi volcano eruption increased today to 191, officials report.

The most recent volcano eruption happened on Wednesday, just after midnight, stated an official from the Agency of Volcanology in Yogyakarta province. For Chinese news agency Xinghua, the official said that the ashes were spreading in all directions up to 50 kilometres far.

The number of victims increased to 191, and 598 people obtained serious injuries, National Agency for Disaster Management reported.

The number of evacuated inhabitants was increased to more than 343,000, and agency for volcanology widened the zone of risk to 20 kilometres.

The series of volcano eruptions, which has been erupting hot ashes up to 1,500 meters in height and day Wednesday, started on October 26.
