Опис Koncept Javnog Akvarijuma i Tropikarijuma Beograd je prvenstveno zasnovan na edukaciji dece i odraslih u oblastima očuvanja prirode i zaštite živog sveta a posebno u podizanju nivoa svesti ljudi u čuvanju i odgovornosti prema kućnim ljubimcima. Mi smo i azil za napustene kućne ljubimce tako da je preko 80% životinja kod nas udomljeno od ljudi koji nisu mogli više da vode računa o svojim ljubimcima ili su prerasli njihove akvarijume i terarijume. U organizovanim posetama za decu do sada je pored naših akvarijuma, terarijuma i vivarijuma prošlo preko 75 000 dece. Nama je konstantno potrebna pomoć u obliku donacija i volontiranja kako bi postigli sve što ove udomljene životinjice zahtevaju. Dobrodošli u Javak, Milenka Vesnića 3.

I don’t recommend coming here. Thank God we didn’t pay for tickets, because I would regret and feel like I support cruelty over animals. This place is dirty and empty, animals are kept in small aquariums and terrariums, glasses are dirty and full of glones. I have been to many zoos and aquariums, this place is a mistake and shouldn’t be adviced to be visited by anybody. I am vegan, support animal rights, I take care of an iguana and bearded dragon, but couldn’t stand seeing those animals here, even if it is an asylum. In Poland we have 2 asylums for exotic animals, maybe you should cooperate and learn something about how to do it properly? Greetings. PS After rude message from the owner I regret there ain’t option to rate -1…

The premises are in terrible condition. There is a bad rotten smell inside. Everything is very dirty. The price is 500 dinars per person, but the condition of the aquariums and terrariums is poor. Lots of different fish and reptiles. Not everywhere there is an inscription with the name of the creature, you have to guess who it is. The arrangement of the aquariums is very strange, some are on the floor, it is very difficult to look at them without kneeling. And some are located very high. Overall, the animals are amazing, many of them have never been seen before.

Смештен на Дедињу, Тропикаријум је занимљива идеја мада је скучен и не баш репрезентативан објекат. Има нешто занимљивих риба из Амазоније и Африке.

It is nice to see so many diferent species at one place. Most of the aquariums are indoors, so I would recommend this place on a rainy day. The aquariums and the setup are not that "fancy" and new.

To be honest, it rather looks like a private house of an enthusiastic person. Therefore trackwise of this case is much more exciting than just a commercial project. Two floors and 4 rooms are dedicated to the inhabitants of salty and non-salty waters, as well as inhabitants of the root tree system - these are spiders, lizards, and frogs with snakes. The small internal size of the building made it possible for staff to deftly place a lot of exhibits here. There has even been a place for a lecture hall and a mini-library. Visiting this place will be interesting for everyone. Furthermore, young visitors would be able to draw one of the inhabitants of terrariums and aquariums in one of the rooms specially equipped for that. The entrance ticket is 500 dinars. An hour may be not enough for a cursory acquaintance. In addition on Saturdays, you may be offered to touch the spiders.
