Sarajevo Business Forum’ presented to the Association of Employers of the FBiH

The basic concept and the aim of this major International Investment Conference - organized by the Business Club of Bosna Bank International (BBI) and its counterpart from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) - was presented by Mr. Salih Purisevic, the BBI Secretary General.
First International Investment Conference ‘Sarajevo Business Forum’ due to be held on April 6. And 7. 2010, was presented to the Management Board of the Association of Employers of the Federation of BiH (UP FBIH).
The basic concept and the aim of this major International Investment Conference - organized by the Business Club of Bosna Bank International (BBI) and its counterpart from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) - was presented by Mr. Salih Purisevic, the BBI Secretary General.
Purisevic explained that some of the most prominent investors from the capitals market which currently boasts highest level of financial liquidity in the world, in itself provides even greater incentive for Bosnian companies to have their projects ready to be seriously considered by the foreign investors.
Nihad Imamovic, the president of the management Board of the Association of Employers of the Federation of BiH (UP FBIH) called upon all members of this major association to get acquainted and to familiarize themselves with basic concepts and objectives of 'Sarajevo Business Forum' and in particular to inform the companies whose commercial interests they represent about opportunities this conference will offer.
He particularly pointed out the need to pay attention to the preparatory seminars (workshops) conducted by the Forum Organizers in a partnership with renowned Consultancy firm PGlobal from Turkey, so that their projects and feasibility studies they plan to present to international investors are prepared according to the highest international standards.
‘I can confidently say, on behalf of the employers of the Federation of BiH, that we offer our full support to the Forum and we will disseminate the information about the forum to all our members and we will invite them to start preparing their projects for the Conference’, said the UP FBIH president Imamovic.
At the end of the presentation it was mentioned that UPFBiH will hold another meeting solely dedicated to the ‘Sarajevo Business Forum’ when the total number of recommended projects will be analyzed and reviewed by the Association.
The SBF Organizers intends to post the projects of all interested companies and individuals to the Forum’s website, two weeks prior to the commencement of the Forum, to enable all potential investors to familiarize themselves with the projects before the Forum takes place.
Sarajevo Business Forum will focus on four major sectors of the economy: agriculture, tourism, infrastructure and energy.
