Transport, IT and Communications Minister Aleksandar Tsvetkov presented the development of the transport infrastructure of pan-European Corridor VIII on Bulgarian territory in Tirana.

He took part in an international conference "Corridor VIII: a bridge between the Adriatic and Black seas", his ministry said.

The forum was unveiled by Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

The transport ministers of the four countries along the corridor, Albania, Bulgaria, FYRMacedonia and Italy, and
representatives of international financial institutions took part in the forum.

The ministers presented their countries' infrastructure projects, related to the Corridor.
