The Employment Service Agency launched an Integrated Software Solution which will help job seekers access information on what jobs are available as well as what types of employees are currently in demand in the labor market.

The Employment Service Agency launched an Integrated Software Solution which will help job seekers access information on what jobs are available as well as what types of employees are currently in demand in the labor market.

This software will enable job seekers to research a variety of professions, find out what skills are required and what the average salaries are, and get guidance in their career development. For employers, it will shorten and ease the recruitment process, as they will be able to post job posts and access resumés online.

This software was developed by the USAID Business Environment Activity to assist the ESA to become a more pro-active and efficient agency. The Integrated Software Solution will improve the matching of labor market supply and demand.

“The primary mission of the Employment Service Agency is to help people find jobs and help employers find workers,” said Michael Fritz, USAID Macedonia Mission Director. “With this software system, all citizens and organizations will be able to receive effective, up-to-date and useful information.”

The USAID Business Environment Activity has supported the modernization of the Employment Service Agency since 2007, thus enhancing the Agency’s scope and quality of services with the use of Information and Communication Technology.
